Summer Camp Sessions, Dates and Rates

Registration for summer camps open as of Monday, January 8, 2024 at 4:00 am.

Registration closes for each session at 12:00 pm the Wednesday before the session starts.

Overnight Camp is the core Camp Kee-Mo-Kee program. We offer a traditional, down-to earth 5-night camp with lots of opportunities for campers to unplug from technology and reconnect with themselves, nature and others! Ages 8-12

JUNIOR CAMP: Overnight and Day Session E

Designed for younger and first-time campers, this session is shorter and introduces campers to camp activities and how the community works together. Ages 5/6-10

TEEN CAMP: Overnight Session C

Older campers will have opportunities to lead and enhance skills, while having a blast with others. Activities are geared towards teen interests, with personal development and community values being integrated into programs. Ages 12-15

TEEN EXPEDITION: Overnight Session H

The summer ends with a 4-day trip for senior campers! They are bussed to a site along the Grand River where they spend 3 nights sleeping in tents, developing outdoor living skills, exploring nature and tubing the river! This is not a back country out-trip; it is an introduction to tenting and campfire cooking. Ages 12-15

REGULAR DAY CAMP: Session A, B, D, E, F, G

The Day Camp program began in 2021 and quickly became a community favourite! Day campers experience the same programs and schedule as overnight campers, but return home before dinner. Campers are outside in nature most of the day and food is provided, so no need to worry about packing snacks or lunch! Ages 6-12 (ages 5-10 for Junior Camp)

FUTURE LEADER PROGRAM (FLP)

Future Leaders (FLPs) include JLITs, LITs and CITs who join the leadership development program to start transitioning campers into camp staff without them missing out the fun of camp life! Ages 13-16

This special weekend camp is created for families who deserve a break and is the perfect opportunity to have a small vacation with your camper(s) without having to worry about making meals and planning activities.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

A deposit as outlined in our Registration, Fees and Refund Guidelines must be paid when submitting your camper’s application.
Within a week of submitting your camper’s application, we will confirm registration and your deposit will become non-refundable.
Fees must be paid in full by May 31st, 2024. If you register after May 31st, 2024 full payment of fees is required at time of registration.
Camp Kee-Mo-Kee offers a 3-tiered payment system for overnight camps. We recognize families have different abilities to pay for the camp experience and we encourage you to choose the tier that is most suitable for your family.
- TIER 3 is close to (but still less than) the true cost of camp. We calculate the cost to have your camper stay with us is just over $175.00 per day. You will find the Tier 3 rate to be comparable to similar camps in the region. Families selecting this rate more actively support the camper experience.
- TIER 2 is a slightly discounted rate for those who can not afford the Tier 3 rate, with multiple campers, or campers coming multiple sessions..
- TIER 1 is the subsidized rate. This tier will apply to all campers receiving support through the subsidy program. If you are unable to afford the cost of Tier 2 or 3, please complete the subsidy application and submit it to the camp. Subsidy funds are limited; applications are due by May 15th.
Please, rest assured that the tier selected in no way impacts the experience that a camper will receive during their time at camp. All camp activities and services will be the same, regardless of the amount paid to attend camp.
Overnight Camp Tier 1 is the subsidized rate. Subsidies are also available for Day Camp.

OVERNIGHT CAMP
If the Overnight Camp session you wish to attend is FULL, please login to the registration portal and put your camper’s name on the waitlist by:
- Clicking on the session.
- Click “ add to waitlist” and submit.
- Fill out forms as required and submit..
Session and camp capacities will not be changed or reviewed until May 1, 2024. Please do not contact the camp with inquiries regarding your camper’s place on the waitlist as we will not be able to provide further information.
We will notify you if we are able to move your camper off the waitlist.
We want every camper to be successful at camp and have a positive experience. Some campers need individual support to do so. Does your camper need extra assistance at school or at home? They may be a good fit for the Inclusion at Camp (IAC) program. Note: The IAC progrm is at capacity for summr 2024.
