FREQUENTLY ASKED REGISTRATION QUESTIONS…

  • A deposit as outlined in our Registration, Fees, and Refund Guidelines must be paid when submitting your camper’s application.

Within a week of submitting your camper’s application, we will confirm registration and your deposit will become non-refundable.

Fees must be paid in full by May 15, 2026. If you register after May 15, 2026 full payment of fees is required at time of registration.

  • Applying for camp adds a step to our registration process so that our Camp Director can review each application to ensure all campers have the best experience possible when they come to Camp Kee-Mo-Kee. The intent of the application is to ensure the camper is registered in a program that they will be successful in and engages parents/guardians in the registration process if we have questions about how to best support your camper.

We will reach out to you to discuss your camper’s application if we see opportunity to enhance your camper’s time at camp. Otherwise, we will email you within one week of receiving your application to confirm your camper’s registration.

  • Why a Tiered System?
The average cost of camp in Ontario is over $1,200 per week, while our true cost per camper is over $1,000 per week. Thanks to donations and grants, we keep our fees well below the provincial average. The tier system allows families who can give more to support camp sustainability while ensuring accessibility for all.

    Our Tiered Payment System

At Camp Kee-Mo-Kee, we recognize that families have different abilities to pay for summer camp. To make our programs accessible while also sharing the true cost of camp, we offer a voluntary three-tier payment system. Families may select the tier that best fits their situation.

    • Tier 1 – Designed for families who are able to support the ongoing work of summer camp, as well as the maintenance and upgrades at camp. This tier helps sustain a high-quality camp experience for everyone.

    • Tier 2 – Close to the minimal operational cost of camp, reflecting the expenses of running programs, maintaining facilities, and providing camper services.

    • Tier 3 – Our most subsidized rate, ideal for campers attending multiple weeks or for families who require financial assistance to participate.

    Additional Notes:

    • Families with multiple children can apply a sibling discount directly through the Camp Brain registration page.

    • The tier you choose does not affect your child’s camp experience; all campers enjoy the same programs and activities.

    • Only office staff see the tier selection, and it is used solely for billing purposes.

    • This program allows families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp experience.

  • Tier 3 is our most subsidized rate, ideal for campers attending multiple weeks or for families who require financial assistance to participate. There is no application necessary for this level.

    Need additional support?
If Tier 3 is still unaffordable, please contact us at (519) 871-7277 or email info@keemokee.com for a KidsInCamp application. Applications are due March 31st each year.

Our goal is to ensure every camper has a positive and lasting experience, regardless of financial circumstances.

  • We want every camper to be successful at camp and have a positive experience. Some campers need individual support to do so. Does your camper need extra assistance at school or at home? They may be a good fit for the Inclusion at Camp (IAC) program. Please contact the camp to see if your camper is a good fit for this program.

Note: The IAC program has limited capacity and spaces are dependent on staff availability.
