CAMP PRICING EXPLAINED
Camp fees are set and approved annually by the Camp Kee-Mo-Kee Board of Directors. As a non-profit organization, we work hard each year to keep fees as low as possible while ensuring:
Programs are led by well-trained, high-quality staff.
Our facilities are well maintained, with safety and accessibility as top priorities.
Overhead and program-related expenses are covered responsibly.
In 2025, the true cost to have a camper on site was approximately $210 per day—over $1,000 per week. With rising expenses, we expect that cost to increase in 2026. However, camper registration fees remain considerably lower than the actual cost of camp, thanks to the generosity of individual donors and granting organizations.
For comparison, the average cost of camp in Ontario is over $1,200 per week, while Camp Kee-Mo-Kee continues to keep fees well below this provincial average. Our tiered pricing system allows families who are able to contribute more to support camp sustainability, while ensuring that camp remains accessible for all.
OUR TIER PRICING SYSTEM
At Camp Kee-Mo-Kee, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience camp, regardless of financial circumstances. To make camp accessible to all families, we offer a voluntary three-tiered pricing system. Each family may select the tier that best fits their financial situation.
Tier I – This tier is designed for families who are able to pay closer to the true cost of camp, helping to sustain high-quality programs and support the ongoing work, maintenance, and upgrades of our facilities. Choosing Tier I ensures that Camp Kee-Mo-Kee can continue to grow and thrive for future generations.
Tier II – This option reflects a more subsidized rate, set close to the minimal operational cost of running camp. It covers the core expenses of programs, facilities, and camper services while remaining accessible to more families.
Tier III – Our most subsidized rate, Tier III provides the lowest possible fees to make camp as accessible as possible. This option is especially helpful for families in need of financial support.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
The tier you choose does not affect your child’s camp experience; all campers enjoy the same programs and activities.
Only office staff see the tier selection, and it is used solely for billing purposes.
This program allows families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp experience.
SUBSIDIES
Tier 3 is our most subsidized rate, designed for families who require financial assistance to participate.
