For many campers, Kee-Mo-Kee begins as a destination and by the end of the week, it feels like home. Overnight camp offers something increasingly rare: the chance to live in community, screen-free, fully present with others, for an entire week. It is more than a collection of activities. It is an experience shaped by strong safety practices and guided by trained, caring staff who understand that growth happens best when children feel secure, known, and supported. A week at camp means stepping away from screens and into shared life. Campers live in cabins together, forming friendships, working through challenges, and celebrating everyday moments side by side. They share meals, responsibilities, and stories. They learn how to say thank you, how to help one another, and how to be part of something bigger than themselves. Our days are intentionally simple and well balanced. Activity blocks blend camper choice with meaningful cabin bonding, giving kids both independence and connection. A simple schedule supports smoother transitions into camp life, allowing campers time to settle in, unpack, and begin building community from the very first afternoon. Kee-Mo-Kee’s overnight experience is rooted in tradition. Campfires in the evenings, reflective vespers, family-style meals, and shared songs create rhythms that foster belonging. Fun and engaging weekly themes give each session its own story, inviting imagination, teamwork, and shared purpose throughout the week. Overnight programs have always been the heart of the Kee-Mo-Kee experience. By focusing on what we do best, we offer a week filled with connection, adventure, and growth. Kee-Mo-Kee is a place where kids can play freely, connect with nature, learn through experience, and discover a true sense of belonging. Dreaming of Camp, Carter Mahoney / Executive Director
