Camp Kee-Mo-Kee is owned by the United Church of Canada. It is one of a number of United Church camps in London Conference, which generally covers southwestern Ontario. Kee-Mo-Kee serves the Middlesex Presbytery area, which includes the city of London and Middlesex County. If you are interested you can check out the London Conference Camping webpages, for more information on camps in the area. Also be aware that April 26, 2009 is Camping Sunday in the United Church. There are resources available at www.uccancamping.org to help you plan a service for Camping Sunday.
Kee-Mo-Kee is accredited with the Ontario Camping Association. The OCA is a non-profit organization which supports camping and leadership development. Member camps are visited periodically by representatives of the OCA who, in discussion and observation at the campsite, ensure that the appropriate standards are in place. Accredited camps voluntarily adhere to a wide range of standards, including health, safety, leadership, programs, food service, maintenance and administration.Here's some links to more information about Kee-Mo-Kee.
